After syncing the contacts on your mobile device, you will be able to send funds to any contact who has a Wirex account.
You can also manually add external bank account or crypto wallet details to the Address Book in your Wirex account.
Details from the Address Book will be available in both the app and desktop versions of Wirex, while the details from your device’s Contacts can be accessed only in the app – we don’t download any data off your mobile device.
The Address Book will contain the list of your manually added contacts and the details of their external bank accounts and/or crypto wallets.
You may store Personal and Business account details and make payments to both businesses and people. Account type can be selected while adding a destination account to a contact in the Address Book. For more information please visit address book editing.
