Boosted Refer-a-friend Promotion Terms & Conditions

The following terms and conditions (“Terms”) apply to the Refer-a-Friend Promotion (the “Promotion”) which is offered by Wirex Digital d.o.o., subject to your location and eligibility (referred to as “Wirex”):  

Definitions   

For the purposes of these Terms, the following definitions apply:   

• “APAC” means the locations within the Asia Pacific where Wirex offers its services excluding Singapore.  
• “Dashboard” means the visual display of all your data you see when opening the Wirex App.   
• “EEA” means the locations within the European Economic Area where Wirex offers its services.   
• “Referral Link” means the unique code the Referral will be sharing to the Referred User. Subject to applicable law, Wirex will not under any circumstances be liable to compensate Wirex users, Referrers, Referred Users or any other third parties for any losses or damages occurring as a result of their participation in this Promotion.   
• “RoW” means the locations within the Rest of the World where Wirex offers its services, excluding Singapore, the UK and the USA.  
• “USD” means United States Dollar.   
• “Wirex App” means the Wirex mobile application which allows you to buy, store, exchange and spend a wide variety of traditional and digital currencies.   
• “Working Days” means Monday to Friday, excluding weekend and any public holidays when the banks of England are closed for business.   
• “WXT” means the Wirex Token on the Wirex Service  

Timescale  

1. The Promotion will run from 15:01 GMT on 12th December 2023 until 23:59 GMT on 31st March 2024 (“Promotion Period”).  

Eligibility  

2. The Promotion is open exclusively to Wirex Verified Users in the EEA, APAC and RoW regions (referred to as "Eligible Participants"). Verified Users are individuals who have successfully completed the KYC process in accordance with the applicable Wirex Terms and Conditions in their relevant jurisdiction. For the avoidance of doubt, no other users of the Wirex Platform are eligible to participate in this Promotion, this Promotion is not open to users resident in the UK, USA and Singapore.   

Participation Requirements   

3. To Participate in this Promotion, Eligible Participants must successfully meet the following criteria within the Promotion Period:   

         a) Generate a referral link through their Wirex Account and provide the referral link to an individual who does not have a Wirex Account (Referred User).  

         b) The Referred User must successfully register for a Wirex Account and complete the relevant KYC process.   

         c) The Referred User must complete one of the following actions (Referral Actions) within 45 days of their registration for the Eligible Participant to qualify for the Reward:  

1. Successfully deposits a minimum of 100 USD but a maximum of 499 USD in an X-Account Plus on the Wirex platform.  
2. Successfully deposits a minimum of 500 USD in an X-Account Plus on the Wirex platform 
3. Successfully deposits a minimum of 1000 USD in an X-Account Plus on the Wirex platform  

       d) To generate a referral link for the purposes of this promotion, follow these steps: 

          Wirex App:  

1. Open Wirex App.  

2. Tap "Get $60" at the top.  

3. Choose "Share Referral Link". 
    
   Desktop:  

4. Log in to Wirex on your browser.  

5. Click on "Wirex X-tras" in the left menu.  

6. Select "Invite Friends" and share the link.  

Reward  

4. Wirex will grant each Eligible Participant who fulfils the Participation Requirements the following Rewards:    

• Eligible Participants who complete the Referral Action set out in s3(c)(1) shall receive a reward of 10 USD in WXT.  

• Eligible Participants who complete the Referral Action set out in s3(c)(2) shall receive a reward of 30 USD in WXT.  

• Eligible Participants who complete the Referral Action set out in s3(c)(3) shall receive a reward of 60 USD in WXT.  

5. The Reward will be credited to the Eligible Participants’ Wirex Account within 30 Working Days after the end of the Promotion Period.  

Reward Currency and Exchange Rate   

6. It is clarified that the Reward will be exclusively granted in WXT. The specific amount of WXT shall be subject to an exchange rate determined by Wirex at its sole discretion.  

7. Upon Wirex awarding the Reward to an Eligible Participant, no further Rewards shall be disbursed. This Promotion entitles each Eligible Participant to a single entry.    

General   

8. Wirex reserves the right to withhold Rewards for any reason, including but not limited to circumstances where:   

• the action is prohibited by applicable law.   
• identity verification is unattainable in accordance with Wirex's Terms.   
• fraudulent creation of a Wirex account or other breaches of Wirex's General Terms of Service are reasonably suspected.   
• an Eligible Participant possesses multiple Wirex accounts.    

9. Wirex reserves the right to amend these Terms and the Rewards at any time without notice.  

10. Eligible Participants are only able to qualify for one of the Rewards set out in s5.   

11. Subject to applicable law, Wirex shall not, under any circumstances, be liable to compensate Wirex users or any other third parties for losses or damages incurred as a result of their participation in this Promotion.    

12. Wirex may, at its sole discretion, revise any of these Terms or terminate this Promotion at any time without prior notice to Wirex users. By participating, you acknowledge that the receipt of a Reward is not guaranteed, and Rewards may not be paid if changes occur in the Promotion, limitations are imposed, or fraudulent activity is detected and if this Promotion is terminated.   

13. This Promotion is for individual Users only and cannot be used in connection with any business or advertising affiliate activity. Should Wirex in its absolute discretion consider that a User is using this Promotion in connection with a business or advertising affiliate activity, it can withdraw your right to a Promotion Reward and remove you from the Promotion.  

14. Wirex shall process personal information collected or received in connection with the Promotion as set out in its Privacy, Data Use, and Retention Policy.     

15. These Terms constitute the comprehensive agreement between participants and Wirex concerning the subject matter herein, superseding all previous understandings, agreements, representations, and warranties, whether documented or verbal.      

16. This Promotion is launched by Wirex independently and there are no partnerships between Wirex and any merchant or other third parties relating to this Promotion.    

17. The Terms of this Promotion are governed by the laws of Croatia, and the parties irrevocably agree that the courts of Croatia shall have exclusive jurisdiction to hear, settle, and/or determine any dispute, controversy, or claim (including any non-contractual dispute, controversy, or claim) arising out of or in connection with this Promotion.
