Employment scams

Cryptocurrency transactions are irreversible, and it's crucial to be certain of the legitimacy of any third-party services and merchants before sending cryptocurrency to a blockchain address. Scammers are becoming increasingly sophisticated in their attempts to steal cryptocurrency and personal information, including through employment scams.

Employment scammers often impersonate recruiters with fake job offers, targeting job seekers who have posted their CVs online. These scams can include convincing offer letters and requests for payment to begin training, along with the solicitation of confidential personal information.

To protect yourself, only send cryptocurrency to entities you trust, and remember that if something sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Additionally, all legitimate job postings will be posted on https://wirexapp.com/careers, and all legitimate communications with Wirex recruiters will come from an @wirexapp.com email addresses.

If you suspect an impersonation or fake job recruitment scam, please report it immediately to protect yourself and others.
