How are my funds protected?
We have formed a partnership with leading asset custody firm Fireblocks to ensure that your funds are safe and secure. Fireblocks is the only security platform that insures assets in storage, transfer and E&O. Fireblocks is SOC 2 Type II certified and completes regular pen testing from ComSec and NCC Group.
Wirex is PCI DSS level 1 compliant. PCI DSS is the “Payment Card Industry: Data Security Standard”, which outlines strict requirements set by the payment industry. They are designed to ensure that organizations which process, store or transmit credit card data maintain a highly secure environment and uphold the highest data security and privacy standards.
How are my funds insured?
Assets held on the Fireblocks platform are insured against external cyber breaches, malicious intentional misbehavior or fraud committed by Fireblocks employees. Currently, insurance coverage is $30 million, but Wirex is planning to increase the coverage as assets under management grow.
