How do I verify my linked card?

You will need the 4-digit code provided by Wirex after the first top-up transaction made with your local card. If you’re unable to locate the code, check out this article for more information.

How to confirm a card on mobile

1. Login to your Wirex account.
2. Click Add Funds (+).
3. Select one of the available currency accounts.
4. In the From Linked Card section, click on a card with the Confirmation Needed status. If you don’t have any linked card, click Link New Card, follow these instructions and then proceed to the card confirmation.
5. On the Enter Amount screen, top up your Wirex account. Then, check your card statement for your 4-digit confirmation code.
6. During your next top-up, click Confirm Card on the Enter Amount screen.
7. On the Card Confirmation screen, enter your 4-digit confirmation code. You have 5 attempts to enter the correct code. 
   Note: The same confirmation code will be sent to you with each top-up transaction until the card is confirmed.
8. Once the card is successfully confirmed, you’ll receive a notification.

If you already have unconfirmed cards, you can also click Confirm Your Linked Cards on the Home screen, select the relevant card and follow the steps above starting from number 4.
 

How to confirm a card on web

1. Login to your Wirex account.
2. Select the account you’d like to top up and click Add Funds.
