Wirex & WPay Network Giveaway Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the Wirex & WPay Network Giveaway (the "Giveaway"), offered by Wirex Digital Service s.r.l. (the “Organizer”) to celebrate the start of early access for WPay, a decentralized payment network. 

Definitions 

“APAC” means Hong Kong, Taiwan, New Zealand, Australia, Thailand, Philippines. Excluding Singapore in the context of these terms.      

“EEA” means European Economic Area, a free-trade zone, composed of the states of the European Union together with Iceland, Norway, and Liechtenstein.  Excluding Singapore in the context of these terms.      

 "Eligible Participants" refers to individuals who are followers of the official Wirex Twitter account and meet the requirements outlined in the Eligibility section of this Agreement. 

“Giveaway Post” means the post from the official Wirex Twitter account announcing the Giveaway, including the instructions to participate, time restrictions, and the criteria for eligibility. 

"$WXT" refers to the native digital currency of the Wirex platform. 

Timescale 

1. The Giveaway will run from 7th February, 15:00 UTC until 11th February 2024, 23:59 UTC (Promotion Period). 

Eligibility 

2. This Giveaway is accessible to individuals who meet the following criteria: 

• Are at least 18 years of age and reside in jurisdictions where participation is legally permitted. This Giveaway is not open to users resident in countries where such promotions are prohibited. 

• Adhere to all relevant local, national, and international laws and regulations. 

• Are residents in the EEA or APAC and have a verified Wirex account. 

Participation Requirements 

3. To qualify for the giveaway, Eligible Participants must satisfy the following prerequisites: 

• Follow @wirexapp and @wpaynetwork on Twitter. 

• Like and Retweet the Giveaway Post related to this Promotion. 

• Tag 3 friends in the comments of the Giveaway Post. 

Reward 

4. The Reward will be credited to the Eligible Participant selected by the Organizer who has met the Participation Requirements (Winner). 

5. The Winner will be contacted via Twitter and asked to provide a Wirex account email address to which the reward can be sent. 

6. The Winner will receive $100 in $WXT in their account within 30 days after the end of the Promotion Period. 

7. Only one Eligible Participant who successfully completes all the Participation Requirements set out in this document will be randomly selected as the Winner. 

8. The Organizer's decision regarding the distribution of the Reward is final and made at their sole discretion, with the right to alter their decision at any time. 

General 

9. The Organizer's verdict on the allocation of rewards is definitive. 

10. The Organizer retains the right to amend the Giveaway or disqualify participants if any fraudulent or inappropriate activities are suspected. 

11. The Organizer and Sponsor disclaim liability for any losses or damages resulting from participation in this Giveaway. 

12. The Organizer reserves the right to amend these Terms or terminate the Giveaway without prior notice. 

13. These Terms constitute the entire agreement between participants and the Organizer regarding this Giveaway. 

14. The Terms of this Giveaway are governed by the laws of Croatia, and the courts of Italy shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from this Giveaway. 

15. By participating, each Eligible Participant consents to their personal information being visible to other participants when posting comments under Giveaway posts on Wirex social media platforms. 

16. Wirex will process personal information collected in connection with the Giveaway as set out in its Privacy, Data Use, and Retention Policy, available at Wirex Privacy Policy.
