The following terms and conditions (“Terms”) apply to the Bitcoin Chase Event Promotion (the “Promotion”) offered by Wirex Digital Service s.r.l. (referred to as “Wirex”), subject to your location and eligibility.
Definitions
For the purposes of these Terms, the following definitions apply:
APAC means Hong Kong, Taiwan, New Zealand, Australia, Thailand, Philippines, excluding Singapore in the context of these terms.
BTC means the Bitcoin (a digital currency) which is offered on the Wirex Service.
EEA means together with Iceland, Norway, and Liechtenstein except for Belgium.
RoW means the locations within the Rest of the World where Wirex offers its services, excluding the UK and the USA.
USD means United States Dollar.
Working Days means Monday to Friday, excluding weekends and any public holidays when the banks of Italy are closed for business.
WXT refers to the native digital currency of the Wirex platform.
X-Accounts means a Wirex platform feature that lets users earn interest on cryptocurrency and traditional currency holdings. Available in select countries, it offers secure, simple DeFi-powered savings with variable interest rates based on the plan, tier, currency, and balance
Timescale
1. The Promotion will run from 9:00am GMT on 7th July 2024 until 23:59pm GMT on 4th August 2024 (“Promotion Period”).
Eligibility
2. The Promotion is open exclusively to Wirex Verified Users in the EEA, APAC and RoW regions (referred to as "Eligible Participants"). Verified Users are individuals who have successfully completed the KYC process in accordance with the applicable Wirex Terms and Conditions in their relevant jurisdiction. For the avoidance of doubt, no other users of the Wirex Platform are eligible to participate in this Promotion. This Promotion is not open to user's resident in the UK, USA and Singapore.
Participation Requirements
3. To participate in this Promotion, Eligible Participants must successfully complete the following Qualifying Action within the Promotion Period: Open between 1 and 10 X-Accounts, each with a minimum initial deposit of $100.
4. By participating in this promotion, Eligible Participants expressly acknowledge and agree to comply with the Wirex General Terms of Service.
Reward
5. Wirex will grant each Eligible Participant who fulfils the Participation Requirements set out in Section 3 the following rewards :

If an Eligible Participant opens 1 X-Account with a minimum deposit of $100 or its equivalent , the reward shall be $10 in WXT.

If an Eligible Participant opens 5 X-Account's, each with a minimum deposit of $100 or its equivalent, the reward shall be $50 in WXT.

If an Eligible Participant opens 10 X-Account's each with a minimum deposit of $100 or its equivalent, the reward shall be $100 in WXT.

Additionally, when an Eligible Participant opens 10 X-Accounts, each with a minimum balance of $100 or its equivalent, they shall be automatically entered into a random draw where one Eligible Participant will win $1,000 in WXT. The winner of this draw will be announced on 14th August on our Discord community channel.
6. All the rewards listed above shall be credited to the applicable Eligible Participant’s Wirex Account within 30 Working Days after the end of the Promotion Period.
Reward Currency and Exchange Rate
7. The Reward will be exclusively granted in WXT.
8. Upon Wirex awarding the Reward to an Eligible Participant, no further Rewards shall be disbursed.
General
9. Wirex reserves the right to withhold Rewards for any reason, including but not limited to circumstances where:

The action is prohibited by applicable law.

Identity verification is unattainable in accordance with Wirex's Terms.

Fraudulent creation of a Wirex account or other breaches of Wirex's General Terms of Service are reasonably suspected.

An Eligible Participant possesses multiple Wirex accounts.
10. Wirex reserves the right to amend these Terms and the Rewards at any time without notice.
11. Eligible Participants are only able to qualify for one of the Rewards set out in Section 5.
12. Subject to applicable law, Wirex shall not, under any circumstances, be liable to compensate Wirex users or any other third parties for losses or damages incurred as a result of their participation in this Promotion.
13. Wirex may, at its sole discretion, revise any of these Terms or terminate this Promotion at any time without prior notice to Wirex users. By participating, you acknowledge that the receipt of a Reward is not guaranteed, and Rewards may not be paid if changes occur in the Promotion, limitations are imposed, or fraudulent activity is detected and if this Promotion is terminated.
14. This Promotion is for individual Users only and cannot be used in connection with any business or advertising affiliate activity. Should Wirex in its absolute discretion consider that a User is using this Promotion in connection with a business or advertising affiliate activity, it can withdraw your right to a Promotion Reward and remove you from the Promotion.
15. Wirex shall process personal information collected or received in connection with the Promotion as set out in its Privacy, Data Use, and Retention Policy.
16. These Terms constitute the comprehensive agreement between participants and Wirex concerning the subject matter herein, superseding all previous understandings, agreements, representations, and warranties, whether documented or verbal.
17. This Promotion is launched by Wirex independently and there are no partnerships between Wirex and any merchant or other third parties relating to this Promotion.
18. The Terms of this Promotion are governed by the laws of Croatia and the parties irrevocably agree that the courts of Italy shall have exclusive jurisdiction to hear, settle and/or determine any dispute, controversy or claim (including any non-contractual dispute, controversy or claim) arising out or in connection with this Promotion unless an directly applicable rule regarding jurisdiction or governing law applies.
19. By participating in this Promotion each Eligible Participant agrees for its personal information (e.g. username, forename, surname etc) to be visible to other Eligible Participants, when posting comments under Promotion posts on any of the Wirex social media platform(s).
