What is a Wollo (WLO) memo?

What is a memo?

A memo is a unique 9-digit figure assigned to each Wollo (WLO) account. It is used to identify the recipient in a Wollo transaction. When sending WLO, you need to provide the following information:

  • the target account's address
  • the target account's memo

Is it required?

You must specify your unique memo when transferring WLO from an external wallet to Wirex or between Wirex accounts.

When sending WLO to external accounts, your recipient may or may not require it.

When you are receiving WLO, your sender must also specify their memo, as well as their address.
