How to find bank account details/IBAN

As a Wirex account holder, it may be necessary to access your bank account details, such as your International Bank Account Number (IBAN), which is a unique identifier used for international transactions. It is important to note that Wirex supports the following local bank transfers: SEPA for EUR accounts, and Faster Payments for GBP accounts.

Here's how to find or activate your bank account details/IBAN in your Wirex account:

Step 1: Log in to your Wirex account

The first step is to log in to your Wirex account using your email and password. If you have enabled two-factor authentication, you'll also need to provide the additional code.

Step 2: Navigate to the Account Details page

Once you're logged in, navigate to the ‘Account Details’ page by tapping on "Account" and selecting the local currency you are interested in. If bank transfer is allowed for that currency, you'll see the "Account Details" menu when you go to “Cash In”, choose the “Regular bank transfer” at the top.

Step 3: Find your bank account details/IBAN

On the ‘Account Details’ page (“Cash In” -> “Regular bank transfer”), you'll see a section labelled "Bank details". If you haven't activated your bank account details/IBAN yet, this section may be blank. To activate your bank account details, click on the "Activate" button and follow the prompts.

If you've already activated your bank account details, you should see your IBAN displayed in this section. You can also view your account name and other relevant information.

Step 4: Use your bank account details/IBAN

Once you've found or activated your bank account details/IBAN, you can use this information to receive international transfers or payments.
Important to know: all the deposits initiated after 5:00 PM UTC on Friday or during the weekend typically start being processed at 8:00 AM UTC on the following Monday.

NOTE: We support only first-party transfers, i.e. the sender’s and the receiver’s name(s) should coincide (be the same).

By following these simple steps, you can easily find or activate your bank account details/IBAN in your Wirex account. If you have any questions or encounter any issues, don't hesitate to reach out to Wirex Customer Support for assistance.
