The Promotion
The following terms and conditions (“Terms”) apply to the Wirex Subscriptions Offer Promotion Promotion (the “Promotion”) offered by Wirex Digital Services s.r.l. (“Wirex”) subject to your location and eligibility.
Disclaimer
Cryptoassets are high-risk and not regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). The value of cryptoassets may go up or down, and you could lose all your investments. Cryptoasset products are not covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) or the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS). Consider whether you understand how cryptoassets work and whether you can afford to take the high risk of losing your money.
Definitions
For the purposes of these Terms, the following definitions apply:
“Dashboard” means the visual display of all your data you see when opening the Wirex App.
“UK” means the United Kingdom where Wirex offers its services.
“GBP” means Great British Pound.
“Wirex App” means the Wirex mobile application which allows you to buy, store, exchange and spend a wide variety of traditional and digital currencies.
“Working Days” means Monday to Friday, excluding weekend and any public holidays when the banks of England are closed for business.
Promotion Period
1. The Promotion will run from 15:00 (GMT) on 3rd July 2025 until 23:59 (GMT) on 31st July 2025 (the “Promotion Period”).
Eligibility
2. The Promotion is open exclusively to non-existing (new) Wirex Users in the UK (referred to as "Eligible Participants"). For the avoidance of doubt, no other users of the Wirex Platform are eligible to participate in this Promotion, this Promotion is open to users resident in the UK only who are not Private users. The purchase of a subscription from the ones detailed belowis necessary to participate in this Promotion. Eligibility is subject only to meeting the qualifying transaction requirements within the Promotion period.
Participation in this Promotion is voluntary and subject to eligibility checks. Meeting the Qualifying Transaction requirement does not guarantee a reward unless all criteria, including account verification, timing and reward availability, are met.
Qualifying Transactions
3. For the purposes of this Promotion, a “Qualifying Transaction” means:
igning up to Wirex, ordering a physical or virtual card and linking that card to the following merchants for monthly subscription payments: Netflix, Spotify, chatGPT, Amazon Prime, Apple Music.
4. Any Eligible Participants who complete a Qualifying Transaction prior to or after the Promotion Period will fall out of scope of this Promotion.
5. Any Eligible Participants who complete a Qualifying Transaction after the total amount allocated by Wirex for this Promotion (“Total Reward Value”), has been reached, will not be eligible for the Promotion Reward. Wirex reserves the right to disqualify any Participant suspected of engaging in fraud, manipulation, or breach of these Terms, including through duplicate accounts or artificial Qualifying Transactions.
Reward
6. Eligible Participants who complete a Qualifying Transaction will be eligible to receive the Reward (“Qualifying Participants”) subject to exceptions set out in terms 5 and 6 above.
7. The Reward described is part of a limited-time promotional offer and is not a standard feature of the Wirex service or platform. It is subject to availability and promotional eligibility. Qualifying Participants will receive 50% of their qualifying monthly subscription fee as a promotional reward denominated in WXT, not as a refund or cash rebate. . The Reward will be credited to all Eligible Participants who complete a Qualifying Transaction within the Promotion Period in 30 days from the end date of this promotion.
The Reward will be credited to all Eligible Participants who complete a Qualifying Transaction within the Promotion Period in 0 days from the end date of this promotion. The Rewards will be denominated in WXT tokens, not GBP cash.
WXT is not a financial product and does not consitituteegal tenders or regulated financial instruments. It is not regulated by the FCA and may not be redeemable or convertible in all scenarios. The value of WXT tokens may be volatile and is subject to market fluctuations. Wirex makes no guarantees about the current or future value of WXT tokens.
8. The Reward will be credited to Qualifying Participants’ GBP accounts in 30 days from the end of the Promotion Period. Once a Qualifying Participant has received the Reward in GBP, it can be converted to other currencies through the Wirex Platform, at the Qualifying Participants’ discretion.
9. The maximum amount to be distributed to each Qualifying Participant, via this Promotion is the equivalent of 20 GBP (“Participant Maximum Reward Value”). Wirex reserves the right to apply any applicable GBP exchange rate prior to or during the Promotion Period.
10. Wirex reserves the right to cancel the Promotion at any time, whether the Total Reward Value has been reached or not, and to increase or decrease the Total Reward Value at any time. If Wirex cancels the Promotion, users will be notified of such change.
General
11. Subject to applicable law, Wirex will not under any circumstances be liable to compensate Wirex Users, Eligible Participants or Qualifying Participants for any losses or damages occurring as a result of their participation in this Promotion.
12. Wirex may, at its sole discretion, revise any of these Terms or terminate this Promotion at any time without prior notice to any users, Eligible Participants or Qualifying Participants.
13. This Promotion is launched by Wirex independently and there are no partnerships between Wirex and any merchant or other third parties relating to this Promotion.
14. The Terms of this Promotion are governed by the laws of Australia and the parties irrevocably agree that the courts of Australia shall have exclusive jurisdiction to hear, settle and/or determine any dispute, controversy or claim (including any non-contractual dispute, controversy or claim) arising out of or in connection with this Promotion.
15. Wirex shall not be held responsible for any failure to fulfil the Promotion obligations due to events beyond its control.17. By participating in this Promotion, Participants consent to the use of their name, country of residence and any associated social media handles by Wirex for promotional and marketing purposes in connection with this Promotion, without further compensation except where prohibited by law.
16. Participants may opt out of receiving future promotional communications or having their name or social media handle used in association with this Promotion by contacting Wirex Customer Support.
