Terminology quiz Terms & Conditions

The following terms and conditions (“Terms”) shall apply to the Terminology quiz (the “Promotion”) which is offered by Wirex Digital Services s.r.l. except for Singapore users for whom it is offered by Wirex Pte Ltd (each separately referred to as “Wirex”): 
 
Timescale 

1. This promotion will run from the 13:00 (BST)  until 13:20 (BST) on 28 June 2024 or until the moment when 3 Winners will be determined (“Promotion Period”)   

Eligibility   

2. This Promotion is only open to users of the Wirex Service (as defined by the applicable Wirex terms & conditions: https://wirexapp.com/en/terms-and-policies) resident in the USA, UK, EEA, RoW or APAC regions who have a verified Wirex account and have signed up to the Wirex Discord channel (“Eligible Participants” or  “Wirex user”).  

3. For the avoidance of doubt, no other users of the Wirex Service are eligible for this Promotion.  

Promotion 

4. To qualify for the Promotion, Eligible Participants must participate in the quiz and  answer all questions that relate scamming and educating Wirex users how not to get fooled by scammers in the Wirex Discord channel and receive points for correct answers. (“Qualifying Task”). 

5. Top 3 Eligible Participants who have completed a Qualifying Task and received highest points are the winners of this Promotion (the “Winners” each a “Winner”). Should more than 3 Eligible Participants scored the highest number of points, if this number is the same, the first three who answered are detrmined as the Winners. 

6. The Winners will be contacted by private message from the relevant Wirex Community Team. 

7. Once a Winner is contacted by private message from the Wirex Discord channel, they will have to respond to the message confirming their Wirex registered email address within 48 hours to claim their reward (“Winner Confirmation”) or another Winner will be chosen (please note, Wirex will never ask for any other account details via social media/community message). 

8. If Winners agree in writing, they will be announced on the Terminology quiz Post in the Wirex Discord channel. 

Reward  

9. The Reward will be credited to Winners who complete the Winner Confirmation (“Qualifying Participants”). 

10. The Reward will be paid to Qualifying Participants’ accounts within 30 Working Days of the end of the Promotion Period.  

11. Once a Qualifying Participant has received the Reward it can be converted to traditional fiat currency through the Wirex Service. 

General 

12. "APAC" refers to the locations within the Asia Pacific region where Wirex offers its services, excluding Singapore.  

13. "EEA" refers to the locations within the European Economic Area where Wirex offers its services. 

14. "RoW" refers to the locations within the Rest of the World where Wirex offers its services.   

15. “Reward” means the WXT equivalent to EUR 50 which will be calculated by an exchange rate set by Wirex from time to time in its absolute discretion. 

16. “Terminology quiz Post” means the Wirex quiz post shared via the Wirex Discord channel titled “Terminology Quiz”.  

17. “Working Days” means Monday to Friday, excluding weekends and any public holidays when the banks in Croatia are closed for business. 

18. “Wirex Discord channel” means the Wirex community platform which is a space for productive discussion among Wirex members hosted on Discord: https://discord.gg/Hffc7YQHTc 

19. “Wirex Community Team” consists of the following two members of the marketing team: aliwirex_willnotdmyou  

20. and coreywirex_willnotdmyou. 

21. “WXT” means the Wirex Token on the Wirex Service. 

22. Subject to applicable law, Wirex will not under any circumstances be liable to compensate Wirex users, Eligible Participants or other third parties for any losses or damages occurring as a result of their participation or engagement with this Promotion. 

23. The Reward amount may be varied at any time without notice to Eligible Participants, Winners or other third parties. 

24. Wirex may, at its sole discretion, revise any of these Terms or terminate this Promotion at any time without prior notice to Wirex users, Eligible Participants or other third parties. 

25. This Promotion is launched by Wirex independently and there are no partnerships between Wirex and any merchant or other third parties relating to this Promotion. 

26. By entering the Promotion, Participants consent to the collection, use, and processing of their personal data (full name, email address, and phone number) by Wirex for the purposes of administering the Campagin and onboarding to Wirex services.  

27. Personal data will be processed in accordance with Wirex’s Privacy Policy. 

28. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with this Campagin shall be governed by the laws of Croatia, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Italy.
