In case you encounter issues with your Wirex card payments, there are several troubleshooting steps you can take to address the problem.
Firstly, verify that your card details are accurate and up-to-date. This includes double-checking the card number, expiry date, and CVV code to ensure that they are correctly entered.
Secondly, check your Wirex account balance to ensure that you have sufficient funds to cover the transaction. Keep in mind that we only accept the balance from a single account linked to your card, so ensure that this account has sufficient funds.
Thirdly, confirm your transaction limits as Wirex has set limits to prevent fraud and protect your account. If your payment amount exceeds your transaction limit, the transaction may be rejected. Adjust your transaction limits in the Wirex app or website if necessary.
If you have attempted to make an online payment multiple times with your Wirex card, and it is still being declined, the issue may be with the merchant. In this case, try contacting the merchant directly for clarification.
When making a payment, you may be required to verify the payment via 3-D secure, which may result in problems. This additional security measure is designed to prevent fraud, and the merchant determines which transactions require it.
If you experience issues with in-app 3DS confirmation, check the “Security” settings in “Preferences” to ensure that it is enabled. If the issue persists, try using a different device or internet connection.
If you have tried all of the above steps and are still experiencing problems with your card payments, contact Wirex Customer Support. You can submit a support ticket through the Wirex app or website and provide as much information as possible about the issue you are encountering. Our Support team will work quickly to resolve the issue.
