Viewing and changing your Wirex PIN

If you’ve forgotten the PIN for your Wirex card, you can get a reminder in app or on your desktop.

Important: Make sure no one else is around when viewing your PIN! 

In the Wirex Web application

  1. On the Dashboard, click Cards > Manage Card.
  2. On the Card screen, click Show PIN.
  3. We will then send a One Time Passcode (OTP) to the mobile number registered to your Wirex account.
  4. Enter the OTP and your PIN will then be displayed on the screen for 15 seconds.

In the Wirex iOS and Android applications

  1. On the Dashboard, tap Cards > Card Details.
  2. Tap Show PIN
  3. We will then send an OTP to the mobile number registered to your Wirex account.
  4. Enter the OTP and your PIN will be displayed on the screen for 15 seconds.

Changing your Wirex PIN

You can change the PIN for your Wirex card at any ATM that supports this function. Wirex doesn’t charge any fees for changing your PIN, but please be aware that some ATM operators may charge a fee. 

Note: Be sure to request an account balance from the ATM after changing your PIN.  

Why? The ATM will update your PIN in the banking system, but some merchants may still use an offline card terminal. In these cases, you may need to enter the first, original PIN encoded into the card. However, if you request an account balance from the ATM after changing your PIN, this will overwrite the original, offline PIN.
