These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the Wirex DOGE Day Giveaway (the “Promotion”), offered by Wirex Digital Service s.r.l. (“Wirex”), and apply exclusively to participation via the Instagram platform.
Definitions
“APAC” means Hong Kong, Taiwan, New Zealand, Australia, Thailand, and the Philippines.
“EEA” means the European Economic Area, comprising EU member states along with Iceland, Norway, and Liechtenstein.
“Eligible Participants” refers to individuals who are Wirex users and meet the criteria outlined in the Eligibility section of these Terms.
“Giveaway Post” refers to the post published on Wirex’s official Instagram account on April 20th, 2025, detailing the instructions for participating in the DOGE Day Giveaway.
“Promotion Criteria” denotes the conditions that must be met to qualify for the Promotion.
“Working Days” means Monday to Friday, excluding weekends and public holidays on which banks in England are closed.
“DOGE” means Dogecoin.
Timescale
1. The Promotion will run for 72 hours, beginning at 3 PM CET on April 20th, 2025, and ending at 3 PM CET on April 23rd, 2025 (“Promotion Period”). Entries received outside this period will not be considered.
Eligibility
2. This Promotion is accessible to individuals who meet the following criteria:
Reside in the EEA or APAC, in a jurisdiction where participation is legally permitted. This Promotion is not open to residents of the UK or the USA, Singapore and Belgium.
Are at least 18 years of age.
Adhere to all relevant local, national, and international laws and regulations.
Have a verified Wirex customer account.
Participation Requirements
3. This Promotion is exclusive to the Instagram platform. To enter the giveaway, Eligible Participants must:
Follow Wirex’s official Instagram account (@wirexapp).
Like the Giveaway Post.
Tag 3 friends in the comments.
Share the Giveaway Post to their Instagram Story and tag @wirexapp so the entry can be verified.
Reward
4. The reward will be credited to 3 Eligible Participants who have met the Participation Requirements and are selected at random from all participants who have fulfilled the entry criteria for this Competition (the “Winners”).
5. The reward will be granted to 3 Eligible Participants who have met the Participation Requirements. The Winners will be selected at random from all participants who have fulfilled the Participation Requirements during Promotion Period.
6. Winners will be contacted within 30 days of the end of the Promotion Period via Instagram by the official Wirex Instagram account and asked to provide details of their verified Wirex account to which the reward can be sent.
7. The Winners will receive $50 worth of DOGE coin each, credited to their verified Wirex account within 30 Working Days after the end of the Promotion Period.
8. Wirex’s decision regarding the distribution of the reward is final and may be changed at any time at Wirex’s sole discretion.
General
9. Wirex’s verdict on the allocation of rewards is definitive and is made at its exclusive discretion.
10. Wirex retains the right to amend the Promotion or disqualify participants if any fraudulent or inappropriate activity is suspected.
11. Wirex disclaims liability for any losses or damages resulting from participation in this Promotion.
12. Wirex reserves the right to amend these Terms or terminate the Promotion without prior notice.
13. Subject to applicable law, Wirex shall not, under any circumstances, be liable to compensate Wirex users or any other third parties for losses or damages incurred as a result of participation in this Promotion.
14. These Terms are governed by the laws of Croatia. The parties agree that the courts of Italy shall have exclusive jurisdiction to settle any dispute, controversy, or claim (including any non-contractual dispute) arising from or in connection with this Promotion.
15. By participating in this Giveaway, each Eligible Participant agrees for their personal information (e.g. username, forename, surname etc.) to be visible to other participants when engaging in Giveaway-related posts on Wirex’s social media platforms.
16. Wirex will only process personal data collected in connection with the Competitionin accordance with its Privacy, Data Use and Retention Policy, available here: https://wirexapp.com/legal/row-privacy-data-retention
17. These Terms constitute the complete agreement between participants and Wirex with respect to the Promotion and supersede all prior communications and understandings, whether written or verbal.
