These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the Wirex Ubisoft July Giveaway (the "Promotion"), offered by Wirex Digital Service s.r.l. (referred to as "Wirex").
Definitions
“EEA” means the European Economic Area, a free-trade zone composed of the states of the European Union together with Iceland, Norway, and Liechtenstein except for Belgium.
“Eligible Participants” refers to individuals who are Wirex users and meet the requirements outlined in the Eligibility section of this Agreement.
“Giveaway Tweet” means the tweet from the official Wirex Twitter account explaining the instructions for the XRP Birthday Giveaway, including time restrictions and participation criteria.
"Promotion Criteria" denotes the conditions that must be satisfied for eligibility in the Promotion, as detailed in this Agreement.
“Working Days” means Monday to Friday, excluding weekends and any public holidays when the banks of England are closed for business.
Timescale
1. The giveaway will run from 16th July 2025, 15:00 UK time until 31st July 2025, 23:59PM UK time (“Promotion Period”). Entries submitted after this time will not be counted.
Eligibility
2. This Promotion is accessible to individuals who meet the following criteria:
Reside in the EEA, in a jurisdiction where participation is legally permitted. This Promotion is not open to residents of the UK and Belgium.
Are at least 18 years of age.
Adhere to all relevant local, national, and international laws and regulations.
Have a verified Wirex customer account.
Participation Requirements
3. To qualify for the giveaway, Eligible Participants must:
Sign up via the link received in the email or in-app.
Reward
4. The reward will be credited to 750 Eligible Participants who have met the Participation Requirements and are selected at random from all participants who have fulfilled the entry criteria for this Competition (the “Winner”).
5. Winners will be selected at random from all participants who have fulfilled the Participation Requirements during Promotion Period.
6. Winners will be contacted within 30 days of the end of the Promotion Period via email by the official Wirex email account and asked to provide details to which the reward can be sent.
7. Winners can win 300 Assassin’s Creed branded merch bundles (keyboard, mouse, mouse pad, headset) or 450 Assassin’s Creed game codes
for which they will be contacted for within 30 Working Days after the end of the Promotion Period.
8. If there are fewer participants than rewards, users will be able to win both types of rewards.
9. Wirex’s decision regarding the distribution of the reward is final and may be changed at any time at Wirex’s sole discretion.
General
10. Wirex’s verdict on the allocation of rewards is definitive and is made at its exclusive discretion.
11. Wirex retains the right to amend the Promotion or disqualify participants if any fraudulent or inappropriate activity is suspected.
12. Wirex disclaims liability for any losses or damages resulting from participation in this Promotion.
13. Wirex reserves the right to amend these Terms or terminate the Promotion without prior notice.
14. Subject to applicable law, Wirex shall not, under any circumstances, be liable to compensate Wirex users or any other third parties for losses or damages incurred as a result of participation in this Promotion.
15. Where services are provided by Wirex Digital Services S.r.l., the Terms shall be governed by the laws of Croatia, with exclusive jurisdiction vested in the Italian courts. The parties irrevocably agree that the designated courts shall have exclusive authority to hear, settle and/or determine any dispute, controversy or claim (including any non-contractual matters) arising out of or in connection with this Promotion.
16. By participating in this Giveaway, each Eligible Participant agrees for their personal information (e.g. forename, surname etc.) to be visible to other participants when engaging in Giveaway-related posts on Wirex’s social media platforms.
17. Wirex will only process personal data collected in connection with the Competition in accordance with its Privacy, Data Use and Retention Policy, available here: https://wirexapp.com/legal/row-privacy-data-retention
18. These Terms constitute the complete agreement between participants and Wirex with respect to the Promotion and supersede all prior communications and understandings, whether written or verbal.
