Being a geek or just loving technology isnt always a bad thing, you can end up becoming a millionaire. This is a compilation of known Bitcoin millionaires, going from geek to millionaire is no longer a dream. You just need to be in the right place, right time and be open to explore; but also lead and apply new ideas. Then, the path to being a millionaire starts from becoming a geek.

Erik Finman

Erik won a bet with his parents that they wouldnt make him go to college if he became a millionaire by the time he was 18. He began investing in Bitcoin in 2011 when it was just $12 per coin. Therefore, he is a high school dropout and now a Bitcoin millionaire at 18. Erik started investing in the popular cryptocurrency when he was 12 years old after he received a $1,000 gift from his grandmother and a tip from his brother Scott. His estimated worth in Bitcoin is about 1.3 million USD.

Roger Ver

Roger known as the BitcoinJesus for his tireless evangelism of the virtual currency was born and lived inSilicon Valley (USA). However, he currently lives in Tokyo (Japan). Roger started investing in Bitcoin in early 2011 and is involved in numerous Bitcoin related projects. In addition, he is one of five founders of the Bitcoin Foundation, he wants Bitcoin to rival major fiat currencies. He has been the Chairman of Cryptocurrency Advisory Board and Member of Cryptocurrency Advisory Board at MGT Capital Investments, Inc. since June 13, 2016. Roger was already a successful entrepreneur before getting into Bitcoin, doing so just increased his riches. But, the biggest of his investment involving millions of dollars are BitPay, Ripple and Blockchain. His estimated worth in Bitcoin is about 55 million USD.

Yifu Guo

Yifu was the founder of Avalon, a company that produced an Application-Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC)-based Bitcoin miner. This entrepreneur and Bitcoin expert got involved with Bitcoin in 2011 while being a student. He used to mine Bitcoin when realized that creating a faster way to perform mining would be profitable. After understanding the bright future of Bitcoin, he dropped out of school to become the founder of Avalon. His Bitcoin miner device was faster than computer graphics cards and soon thereafter, his ASIC miners were sold at a very high price. Miners retailing for several hundred dollars were selling for many times more. However, Yifu Guo left the Avalon project after a year. He was the first to become a Bitcoin millionaire selling such miners. His estimated worth in Bitcoin is about 7 million USD.
