After 3 months of incredible content and 367 entries, we’ve entered the final stretch of our ‘Women in Crypto’ campaign!

In partnership with the Fintech Times, for the next 2 weeks until the 8th November,  the women at Wirex will be taking over our channels, including social media, emails, and the website! We’ve got a tonne of exciting things to share which we’ve pulled together from our team, as well as some extraordinary  female influencers in the crypto and fintech fields.

The ‘Women in Crypto’ Campaign So Far

The ‘Women in Crypto’ campaign was created to celebrate the achievements of women in the fintech and crypto sector, to show that anyone can be involved. We know that it’s a male-dominated industry, but we want to shine a spotlight on some of the great women within the sector to encourage others to get involved too. Back in August, we launched our first ‘Rising Women in Crypto Power List’, which we closed last month after receiving over 350 entries. With some outstanding women from all walks of life having been nominated, our esteemed judging panel spent hours reading through these to narrow it down to their final 10. We’ll be announcing this shortlist next Monday 2nd November, so keep your eyes peeled!

What has made our campaign all the more special, is that we’ve had unbelievable support from women across the industry, expressing how much this initiative means to them. What is very apparent with many women working in the space, is that they do not shy away from the spotlight, and are actively advocating for women in fintech and crypto themselves, through the power of networking, events and social media.

Therefore, within the ‘Women in Crypto’ takeover, we’ve worked alongside these women, including some very recognisable names, to pull together exclusive written and video content. They’ll be sharing their experiences and thoughts about fintech and crypto, and tips and hints for succeeding in the sector.

Look out for content from:

  • Ashley Koh, COO at Spark Systems, about what she’s learnt as a woman in fintech
  • George Coxon, COO at the Nano Foundation, with three things you didn’t know about Nano
  • Erica Stanford, Founder of the Crypto Curry Club, on her top tips for surviving networking events

And that just the beginning! Here’s a taste of what’s to come:

We’re sure you’ll learn a thing or two from it! So keep an eye on the ‘Women in Crypto hub’ on the Wirex website, our YouTube channel, and our social media channels (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) over the next few weeks, and like us, we hope that you’ll feel inspired to get involved in crypto too!
