The following terms and conditions (“Terms”) apply to the Ubisoft x Wirex Assassin’s Creed: Shadows Launch Promotion Terms and Conditions (the “Promotion”) offered by Wirex Limited, a company registered in England (company no. 09334596) with its registered office address at 9th Floor 107 Cheapside, London, United Kingdom, EC2V 6DN (referred to as “Wirex”) and Bright Blue Day Limited, a company registered in England (company no. 04535919) with its registered office address at 26 Avenue Road, Bournemouth BH2 5SL (referred to as “Bright Blue Day”) in the United Kingdom (UK).
Timescale
The Promotion will run in partnership with Ubisoft from 10:00 am GMT on 10th February 2025 until 10:59 pm (GMT) on 31st March 2025 (“Promotion Period”).
Eligibility
This Promotion is open to UK Wirex Verified cardholders who can sign in with an email address already linked to an active Wirex account only (“Eligible Participants”). Verified cardholders are defined by the applicable Wirex Terms and Conditions in the United Kingdom (UK). Provided that accounts with restrictions, blocks, etc., are automatically disqualified. Employees, officers, directors and contractors of Wirex are not eligible to participate in the Competition. For the avoidance of doubt, no other users of the Wirex Platform are eligible to participate in this Competition. This Competition only applies to UK users. The users can register to participate in the Competition only once.
This Promotion applies to purchases made using the Wirex Visa card only (the “Wirex Card”).
Qualifying Transactions
4.1 For the purposes of this Promotion, a “Qualifying Transaction” is defined as a purchase of at least 10 GBP made using the Wirex Card during the Promotion Period. Purchases made online or in person must exclude ATM withdrawals and transactions made to gambling companies.4.2 There is no maximum spend requirement for Qualifying Transactions within the Promotion Period. However, all transactions are subject to the restrictions set out in the Wirex Card Terms.
4.3 Wirex reserves the right to determine whether a transaction qualifies for the Promotion.
Any Eligible Participants who complete a Qualifying Transaction prior to or after the Promotion Period will fall out of scope of this Promotion.
Any Eligible Participants who complete a Qualifying Transaction after the total amount allocated by Wirex for this Promotion (“Total Reward Value”), has been reached, will not be eligible for the Promotion Reward.
Reward Eligibility
7.1 Eligible Participants who complete a Qualifying Transaction during the Promotion Period will be entered into the prize draw (“Qualifying Participants”) provided they sign up via the promotional page [insert link].
7.2 Each Qualifying Transaction counts as one entry into the prize draw.
7.3 Participants may accumulate multiple entries, increasing their chances of winning.
Winner Selection
8.1 All Qualifying Participants will be entered into one (1) random draw to select winners.
8.2 The draw will be held within fourteen (14) days of the end of the Promotion Period.
8.3 There will be a total of three (3) Grand Prize winners and multiple winners for additional prizes as outlined in Section 11.
Winner Notification
9.1 The winners will be notified by phone and/or email using the contact details provided at the time of entry within five (5) days of the prize draw.
9.2 The winners will be contacted by the fulfillment email wirex-winners@brightblueday.com and we will make reasonable efforts to contact the winners. However, it is the responsibility of the winners to monitor their voicemail and email inbox (including spam/junk folders) for receipt of the notification.
9.3 If Wirex is unable to contact a winner within fourteen (14) days of the initial notification, the prize may be forfeited, and an alternative winner may be selected.
Data Sharing
10.1 By participating in this Promotion, Eligible Participants consent to their data being shared with Bright Blue Day and its fulfillment partners solely for the purposes of awarding and delivering prizes.
10.2 All data will be handled in compliance with applicable data protection laws.
Prizes
11.1 Grand Prize
Three (3) winners will receive a trip for two to Japan, inspired by Assassin's Creed: Shadows which includes:
a. Five (5) nights 'accommodation in a 4-star hotel, split between Tokyo and Kyoto.
b. Airport transfers in Tokyo to and from the hotel;
c. Daily breakfast for 5 days;
d. Transportation for all group activities including the high-speed train to and from Kyoto;
e. Activities:
2-hour Ninja training experience;
visits to Senso-ji Temple, Kinkaku-ji (Golden Pavilion), Ryoan-ji, and Iga;
Sushi masterclass including dinner.
A Visa prepaid product worth 100 GBP per package;
A guest amenity/gift package worth 400 GBP total;
Support from Visa event staff
11.2 Exclusions for the Grand Prize
The following are not included in the Grand Prize and are the responsibility of the winner:
a. Security and medical services.
b. Meals, events, and/or activities outside of the program schedule, including transportation.
c. Translation services.
d. Guest travel to Tokyo, travel insurance, applicable taxes, tourist entry visas, and passports.
e. Hotel incidentals (e.g., phone, mini-bar, laundry, etc.).
11.3 Additional Prizes
Additional prizes include:
a. 400 Assassin’s Creed: Shadows Legend Boxes (game + 5 accessories).
b. 500 digital game codes.
c. 200 Ubisoft+ subscriptions (1-month).
d. A limited number of custom-designed physical Wirex Visa cards
e. 1 Visa-exclusive in-game collectible (10,000 units).
12. Reward Distribution
12.1 Winners will be contacted via email and/or phone with instructions to claim their prizes
12.2 Grand Prize winners will receive additional instructions for trip arrangements.12.3 Grand Prize winners have to comply with the following conditions of the prize:
• Passenger names to be confirmed no later than 45 days before travel
• No date changes permitted
• No re-routes permitted
• Cancellation is not permitted
12.4 All rewards, including physical items, will be distributed after the promotion ends.
12.5 Rewards are subject to availability and promotional limits.
12.6 Wirex reserves the right to modify or cancel the promotion if necessary.General
13. Subject to applicable law, Wirex will not under any circumstances be liable to compensate Wirex Users, Eligible Participants or Qualifying Participants for any losses or damages occurring as a result of their participation in this Promotion.
14. Wirex may, at its sole discretion, revise any of these Terms or terminate this Promotion at any time without prior notice to any users, Eligible Participants or Qualifying Participants.
15. This Promotion is launched by Wirex and Bright Blue Day Limited. There are no partnerships between Wirex and any merchants or other third parties relating to this Promotion, except for Bright Blue Day Limited, which is co-organizing this Promotion and assisting with prize fulfillment.
16. The Terms of this Promotion are governed by the laws of England and the parties irrevocably agree that the courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction to hear, settle and/or determine any dispute, controversy or claim (including any non-contractual dispute, controversy or claim) arising out of or in connection with this Promotion.
