We take your security and privacy very seriously at Wirex. That is why we implemented steps to make your Wirex-linked phone number and email address more secure. As such, all Wirex accounts will need to complete phone number verification with just two easy steps.
Here are the steps to get your phone number verified and start using the Wirex platform.
Step 1: Login from Wirex app
Find Wirex app in PlayStore or Appstore and install it on your phone. You can download it from these links:

iOS. Please make sure to have a long-term phone number. Each phone number is valid for one Wirex account. Upon installation, you will be greeted by a mobile phone number confirmation request. Enter your country code and your mobile phone number.
Step 2: Wait for the SMS to arrive
The SMS will contain a code, which you need to enter in Wirex app. Please wait up to 10 minutes for the SMS to arrive. If your SMS did not arrive, please contact the Support Team at support@wirexapp.com. Once the code is accepted, your phone number has been verified. You can start accessing and using Wirex app as usual!
Extra security measures for Wirex phone verification
You can make up to four attempts before the phone number is automatically blocked. This setting is in place to increase the security of your account. Get your account unblocked by contacting the Support Team. After performing phone verification, we advise all users to increase account security by implementing 2FA (two-factor authentication) and PIN or Touch ID.
